Taé Nosaka serves as Executive Director of Student Success and High Impact Pathways at Colorado State University (CSU). She provides strategic leadership for a portfolio of high impact student success initiatives, including Key Communities, Scholar Success Programs, the Community for Excellence, and university-wide Learning Community efforts.
A first-generation college graduate, Taé's journey to higher education began in the mountains west of Trinidad, Colorado, where she was raised in a low-income, off-grid household. The transformative impact of educational opportunity, mentorship, and belonging shaped both her life and her career. For more than 25 years at CSU, she has dedicated her work to expanding access, fostering student success, and creating pathways for students from first-generation, limited-income, and historically underserved backgrounds.
She is widely recognized for building collaborative partnerships that bridge academic affairs, student affairs, enrollment management, and community organizations in support of student success. She is passionate about creating environments where students build meaningful relationships, experience a sense of belonging, access opportunities, and develop confidence in their ability to achieve their goals. Her work focuses on aligning people, systems, and resources around that purpose.
Taé serves on the Student Access and Success Executive Leadership Team and chairs multiple university-wide advisory and leadership committees, including the Learning Communities Advisory Board and the Community for Excellence Leadership Committee. She also co-chairs Colorado State University's First-Generation University Initiative and previously co-chaired the Student Success High-Impact Experiences Implementation Team, helping shape institutional strategies that advance belonging, equity, and student achievement.
Taé lives in Fort Collins, Colorado, with her husband, Rich, their two sons, Taylor and Ren, and their dogs, Nellie and Ted. Outside of work, she enjoys cheering on her sons at basketball and soccer games, making jewelry, creating new recipes, and spending time in the Colorado mountains.
