Blake Nantz is the Assistant Director, Data Analytics & Learning at FirstGen Forward, bringing a wealth of experience in higher education and a passion for data-driven decision-making. Blake's career began in enrollment management at the University of Kentucky, where he worked in the Orientation Office before taking on roles as the University's Residency Officer and later as a recruiter in Undergraduate Admissions. His growing interest in data led him to the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education, where he specialized in data, research, and advanced analytics. As a liaison to institutional research offices, Blake played a key role in maintaining the state's comprehensive database guidelines and supporting data initiatives. Blake’s strong background in enrollment management fuels his commitment to using data visualization and analytics to drive process improvements and enhance student success.

Blake earned a B.A. in Psychology from Western Kentucky University in 2017 and an M.S. in Research Methods in Education from the University of Kentucky in 2020. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in Higher Education, specializing in Institutional Research, at the University of Kentucky. Outside of work, Blake enjoys reading, crocheting, baking, and spending time with his two pets.
