2018 First-Generation College Celebration
This year, the University of Dubuque will be hosting an informational booth in the dining center. Invitations will be disseminated through a postcard to first-gen students, staff, and faculty. They will all be invited to create posters celebrating what it means to them to be first-gen. There will also be an area dedicated to creating smaller personal posters, individuals will have the opportunity to express that they are more than a first-gen student. Additionally, students, staff, and faculty will have an opportunity to have their picture taken in front of the "I am TRIO" foam board and can proudly hold up an "I am First Gen" sign. The pictures will be posted across the University of Dubuque's TRIO Facebook page!
