2021 First-Generation College Celebration

We'll be celebrating first-generation Mac students on Monday, Nov. 8 from 4-5pm in the Weyerhaeuser Boardroom as part of the National First Generation College Celebration! On the anniversary of the signing of the Higher Education Act of 1965 by President Lyndon B. Johnson, this event aims to continue the conversation about how we can empower first-gen students here at Mac and beyond. In addition to getting the chance to mingle with first-gen students, staff, and faculty, there will be swag, informational resources, and a photo booth. This event is sponsored by the Civic Engagement Center, Department of Multicultural Life, and QuestBridge.
