2022 First-Generation College Celebration

We will be linking to a statewide effort to increase First Generation Student Celebration Day. We will all be having book clubs with a common book on a first-generation theme. We will also employ door hangs to indicate support for first-generation students on all faculty and staff doors/offices on campus. Door hangs will indicate that faculty are themselves first-gen or that they support first-gen students.

Our school will also have a set of easels set up so students and faculty can write messages of encouragement, support, and sage advice to our first-generation students.
