2021 First-Generation College Celebration

The University of Missouri-Columbia (Mizzou) celebrates First-Generation College Celebration the week of November 7-12. Events kick-off with a virtual McNair Day Celebration and continue with a TRiO alumni networking event, celebrations within Mizzou's academic schools and colleges, events sponsored by student services offices, a mocktail social hour, and social media campaigns featuring students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Nearly 100 faculty and staff will also participate in "Open Door Day" for students to get to know different departments, explore student success resources, and participate in other fun activities.
