2022 First-Generation College Celebration

Miami University is planning a full week of programming across all Miami campuses in honor of the National First-Generation College Celebration.

Programs will include an alumni panel, President's tailgate, prospective student tour, and reception hosted by the Miami Firsts student org along with many other exciting events. A full list of events can be found at the Miami Firsts website.

2019 First-Generation College Celebration

Miami University will honor the achievements of first-generation students on November 8. The celebrations will include a gathering at the Miami Seal to engage with our first-generation students and a reception at Lewis Place hosted by President Greg Crawford and University Ambassador Renate Crawford - both first-generation students themselves. Several departments will host their own activities.
